National Conference: Another Delegate Slumps

On Tuesday at the ongoing National Conference taking place in Abuja, a delegate identified as Abubakar Abdulmumuni slumped, shortly after the plenary session of the Conference and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital in Abuja for medical attention.
He was immediately assisted by security agents, including operatives of the Department of State Security, DSS, and the National Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, who alongside a doctor rushed him to an ambulance.
Abubakar Abdulmumuni slumped a few minutes after 6 p.m. while emerging from the auditorium where the plenary session was holding.
It could not be ascertained which of the groups the delegate represents at the Confab.
The camera of a photo-journalist who tried to take the photograph of the ailing delegate was smashed by a female security operative, who engaged the journalist in a fisticuff.
It was earlier recorded that a delegate of the Market Women Associations, Ifeyinwa Ezenwa, had slumped last week shortly after the Conference resumed for the afternoon session.
Also, a delegate representing Association of Retired Police Officers of Nigeria, ARPON, Mamman Misau, had died during the first week of the Conference.
